Oratorical

The oratorical contest for the Post level is 8:30 on Dec 1st at the Alexandria Bay School.
Anyone in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate.
The post gives $50 to anyone who competes or prize money to 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place
The county level gives prize money as well as the district, zone, Department and National level.

 Katarina has been a three time runner-up. She is also a member of 904 Troop 65 Eagle Scout.  The VFW Eagle Scout of the Year. 3x Champion at post,county,district Zone runner up  An advanced EMT who is studying with hopes of being an Army surgeon someday.  Patriotic to the core.  

Benefits of Participating

Ian Chung from NY was the National runner up he said he earned over $60,000 in cash and scholarships from the Oratorical contest.  Ian’s Zone is the same as ours and our own Katarina Probst was runner up to him 3 times.  Lots of money in this and Post 904 does well at it.

Multiple year Champion at the school, County, District, Zone and FINAL FIVE in the State contestant GARRETT WARDELL. Now judging the contest. Oh he’s also a Boys Stater and Pack 65 Eagle Scout.
