Law and Order
The Christmas in July event was created by the John B Lyman American Legion Post 904 Entertainment committee in order to support the Law and Order committee. The River Santa parade was added ‘after’ the event was approved by the village and planned. The addition of the River Santa parade to our Christmas in July event was appreciated by the entertainment committee. Christmas in July included ‘random acts of kindness’, an ice cream social at the post, and activities in the post and in the post range. The money raised to purchase ALF (American Legion FAMILY) Dogs will be GIVEN to police departments in the area to be given to children when they come across children in CRISIS. This program is designed to not only help children but to correctly reflect the care law enforcement has for citizens. God bless our police and first responders and keep them safe.
