The American Legion has established a “Be the One” initiative to help veterans reach out in their time of need. No one needs to be alone when they face the hardships that can come with being a veteran, and no one needs to die from it. That’s what Be the One initiative is all about – not being alone and getting help.
What Post 904 is Doing
Post 904 is an active member of the North Country Suicide Prevention Council. It has also hosted S.A.V.E. training and activities at the post for interested veterans and loved ones who want to help those who need a hand.
